Warrant Officer Class Two Dave M Jacas

Warrant Officer Class One (WO1) Dave Marlon Jacas born on the 20th of February 1970 at 16 ½ Wickham Avenue, Kingston 8 and enlisted in the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) on the 9th of January 1989.  After his successful completion of the basic recruit training at the Newcastle Training Depot (now Caribbean Infantry Training Centre (CITC)) he was posted to the Second Battalion the Jamaica Regiment (2 JR) where he served for fourteen (14) years as a Rifleman for the first two (2) years before being transferred to the Quartermaster Department (QM Dept) where he was trained as a Military Store Clerk (MS Clerk).  He served in various stores of the QM Dept.

WO1 Jacas was appointed Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) for the Health Services Corps on the 15th of May 2020 after he previously served as RSM for the Fourth Battalion the Jamaica Regiment (4 JR).

WO1 Jacas has held several appointments throughout his military career namely Section Commander, Warrant in charge of the Force Ration Store and Regimental Quartermaster (RQMS).

He has attended several Military courses to include Combat Pioneer, Military Store Course, Potential Non-Commissioned Officer Cadre, Senior Non-commissioned Officer Cadre, Warrant Officer Course and Advanced Drill Course. He also earned a Diploma in Supplies Management from the Management Institute of National Development (MIND).

WO1 Jacas is an avid sports enthusiast who also loves jogging and prides himself as being one of the best aviculturists.

He is married and is the father of two (2) children.
