The Jamaica Defence Force is comprised of a Regular Force and a Reserve Force. The Regular Force has seven major units, which constitute the Force's combat arms. There is also a Reserve Force comprised of The Third Battalion, the Jamaica Regiment (3JR) (NR), as well as reserve elements of the JDF Air Wing and the JDF Coast Guard.
