Launch of Jamaica Defence Force Air Wing Altimeter Magazine

The Jamaica Defence Force Air Wing (JDF AW) launched the 14th volume of the Altimeter Magazine at the No. 1 Hangar, Up Park Camp, Kingston 5 on August 20, 2020.

The Altimeter is the official Magazine of the JDF AW. This year, the JDF AW celebrates its 57th Anniversary with the launch of Volume 14. This edition is a “time capsule” of the aviation arm of the Government and the people of Jamaica, highlighting some key acquisitions and enhanced capabilities that provide a lifeline for our citizens. The JDF AW lives up to its motto, “We Fly For All” by conducting a myriad of CASEVAC, MEDEVAC and Search and Rescue missions in service of the citizens of Jamaica; consequently, the magazine reflects on the strong record of service, hard work, and professionalism that has been a hallmark of the JDF AW for the past 57 years.
