The new entrance to the Jamaica Defence Force’s Up Park Camp, Cannon Ball Gate, was opened today, April 10, 2020. The new gate which is on Camp Road, sits opposite to Arnold Road.

The relocation of the main entrance from the existing Cotton Tree Gate is a measure to improve traffic flow along Camp Road. To this effect, new traffic lights and road signs have been installed at the Arnold Road/Camp Road intersection and all visitors, pedestrian and vehicular traffic are required to use this gate to enter the base.
