The Jamaica Defence Force commissioned His Majesty’s Jamaican Ship (HMJS) NORMAN MANLEY

COMMISSIONED!!!
The Jamaica Defence Force commissioned His Majesty’s Jamaican Ship (HMJS) NORMAN MANLEY for service at today’s Naming and Commissioning Ceremony held at the Port Royal Cruise Terminal.
HMJS NORMAN MANLEY is the fourth of four patrol vessels to be received by the JDF from Damen Shipyards since 2016.
The ship will be employed in fulfilling the traditional roles of the JDF Coast Guard.
These include: Search and Rescue, Fisheries Protection, Maritime Law Enforcement, Marine Drug Interdiction Ceremonial Duties and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief missions.
